- Review vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate potential security risks
- Configure and maintain security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and anti-virus software
- Develop, execute and track the performance of security measures to protect information and network infrastructure and computer systems.
- Design computer security strategy and engineer comprehensive cybersecurity architecture.
- Identify, define and document system security requirements and recommend solutions to management.
- Configure, troubleshoot and maintain security infrastructure software and hardware
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT security, preferably in the healthcare sector
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly desirable
- Excellent knowledge of security technologies and tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and anti-virus software
- Strong understanding of security standards and regulations such as HIPAA and GDPR
- Experience with security incident response and management
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
