- Able to apply paint, stain,varnish, enamel etc. to property walls, ceilings, andfurniture.
- Able to effectively use brushes,spray guns, or rollers.
- Responsible formaintaining property colour schemespecifications.
- Responsible for maintaining andmatch shades of particular areas.
- Apply primersor sealers to prepare new surfaces, such as bare wood or metal, forfinish coats.
- Remove old finishes by stripping,sanding, wire brushing, burning, or using water and/or abrasiveblasting.
- Cover surfaces with appropriatematerial for protection during painting and posts appropriate paintsigns.
- Clean up and store paint and paintingtools and equipment in appropriate areas.
- Takecare of the area when the front of the house area-painting job isbeing carried out.
- Always place the'Men at work' signboard when working in publicarea or guest rooms.
- Take rounds of therestaurant and other public areas respective in charge and performpaint/polish mark.
- Complete appropriate safetytraining and certifications to perform worktasks.
- Report work related accidents, or otherinjuries immediately upon occurrence tosupervisor.
- Any other job or duties assigned bythe management as and when required.
- Performother duties as assigned by thesupervisor.
- Follow hazardous Materialmanagement program procedures for handling and disposing ofchemicals etc. using material safety datasheets.
- Identify and correct unsafe workprocedures or conditions and/or report them to Shift incharge.
- Follow policies and procedures for thesafe operation and storage of tools, equipment, andmachines.
- Complete appropriate Fire and safetytrainings and certifications to perform worktasks.
