- Handling Transmission & Distribution Turnkey-Projects (Overhead Lines) as advised by TE Management self-responsible with proper co-ordination and co-operation within the company structure
- Guiding Site supervisory staff of all disciplines to ensure safety, quality and progress of the project
- Co-ordinating and co-operating with company's design office for all disciplines to ensure works & contracts progress in technical and commercial terms
- Preparation of all required reports, follow up documentation and correspondence of the project
- Progress certification in technical and commercial terms
- Interface Co-ordination with all related disciplines
- Close liaison with the Client ́s engineers & management
- Conducting and attending Meetings (Progress & Technical Meetings)
- Site Acceptance Tests & commissioning
- Ensuring implementation and maintaining of Safety Rules and HSE Measures or any other work entrusted to you.
- Electrical Engineer (Bachelor's degree) with Minimum 15 years of experience in T&D business - substations
- Previous Experience with projects for UAE clients (Transco, ADDC, etc.)
- Experience in working with 132 kV, 220 kV, 400 kV overhead lines with related associated Works.
- Experience in Conducting project including site supervision for erection, testing and commissioning of Electrical works
- Good organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive and has a continuous improvement mind-set
- Ability to interact regularly and comfortably across various departments in order to negotiate solutions that foster strong relationships and continued success
- Able to think logically and solve problems from basic principles.

Mission
Designate to be responsible on behalf of Consulting Engineer as Principal Resident Engineer for Substation and associated Cables & Overhead line projects and control project activities for the Companies projects in ME. Work Closely with Stakeholders (Management, Client Engineers and Managers, Contractors and personnel) related to the project. Implement and respect strictly Tractebel's Ethics and compliance policies / guidelines.

This role reports operationally to the Product Manager T&D
