    CVDEquipment Corporation, located in Central Islip, NY, hasan opportunity for a Director of ProductDevelopment who is responsible for all aspects of theproduct development process, including the formulation andimplementation of procedures, policies and objectives which enablethe company to consistently introduce new products to the market ina timely and efficient Responsibilities include scope,deliverables, resources, plans, and budgets for all phases of theproduct development lifecycle from Market Requirements Definitionto Prototype, Alpha, Beta and Low-Rate Initial Production ofcapital equipment products for the Custom Semiconductor,Nanotechnology, and Industrial Deposition;

    EssentialFunctions:
    • Workwith the Sales Team to evaluate sales opportunities, define productconcepts and strategies, estimate costs and schedules and definenew programs and
    • Manageprogram and project teams; coordinate and delegate cross-projectinitiatives between engineering and
    • Implementinitiatives and best practices across product management, projectmanagement, marketing, engineering and operations to achieveprogram

    Requirements

    Education& Experience
    • 7+years of product development experience within the ProcessEquipment Industry including deposition reactors, high vacuumsystems, gas delivery, and wafer handling sub
    • Bachelor sDegree in Engineering or other relevant discipline; Master s highly

    RequiredSkills &Abilities:
    • Systemlevel understanding and project coordination of complex process
    • ChemicalVapor Deposition process experience (LPCVD, MOCVD, PECVD) is
    • Stronganalytical, collaboration, communication, and leadership
    • Highdegree of effectiveness working in a collaborative and open cultureof cross-functional
    • Professionaldemeanor and the ability to effectively function under highpressure
