Soil Scientist - Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates - 4 Earth Intelligence

Description

This person will represent 4EI as the technical expert for the Soils subject area in stakeholder meetings and contribute knowledge and experience to projects and reports.

Details of responsibilities

1. Undertake description and interpretation of soil datainto reports following Laboratory Analysis
2. Writing reports for presentation of field data and data derived from satellite imagery and remote sensing.
3. Technical writing input for client and tender proposals and submissions on soils
4. Coordinate and support soil field surveys and sampling
5. Build relationships with laboratory testing facilities to conduct required testing
6. Identify and ommunicate necessary technical limitations developments requirementsto achieve the aims and objectives of requests and projects.

Experience required

1. Advanced degrees (Masters or Ph.D.) in relevant fields such as Soil Science Environmental Science and Geospatial Analysis
2. At least 10 years of experience in areas such as soil quality monitoring and environmental consulting
3. Proven understanding of soil chemistry and associated scientific disciplines
4. Strong experience writing reports and analytics
5. Knowledge of Land ClassificationSoil Contamination
6. Field experience working with soil data and analysing results
7. GCC project and commercial working experience is desirable.
