    JOB DESCRIPTION

    JOB OBJECTIVES

    The Procurement Representative manages all procurement of services and indirect materials, including sourcing, contracting, supplier performance management, and all governance across the categories is in place. Management of the Services and Indirect Materials team, responsible for delivering team KPI's. The role is also required to work in a specialty area such as Compliance, Systems, Processes & Analytics (CSP&A).

    This position typically reports to a Procurement Manager or Sr. Procurement Manager.

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

    STRATEGY

  • Drive the development and implementation of Indirect & Equipment team strategy, and support development of Procurement wide team strategy.
  • SOURCING & OPERATIONS

  • Manages day-to-day activities within designated spend for existing suppliers in their assigned categories.
  • Ensure procurement ownership of responsible sourcing activities through early involvement in commercial discussions and ensuring Strategic sourcing is performed for all responsible categories.
  • Develop, validate, and communicate innovative sourcing strategies for responsible spend categories in alignment with Procurement Policies, process, and Best Practices
  • Continual assessment of spend categories to enhance understanding of market dynamics.
  • Lead responsible category and business sourcing initiatives including key elements of pre-qualification of short-listed suppliers, supplier and market analysis, negotiations, evaluations, supplier selection, risk assessment, implementation, and formalisation of legal agreements.
  • Responsible for financial reporting of savings projects and headwinds
  • CATEGORY MANAGEMENT

  • Ensure compliance (., P2P, contracts, specifications) and governance (including the Supplier Code of Conduct) to the alignment of business and Procurement priorities.
  • Ensure preferred supplier list is documented, updated, and communicated to the business.
  • Validation and approval of new vendors
  • Drive structured business reviews with key suppliers and business stakeholders to assess and measure supplier performance and compliance against KPIs, policies, category objectives, P2P, risk management strategies, in addition to two-way knowledge exchange and gathering of market intelligence.
  • STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT

  • Perform the role of the Procurement Business Partner to ensure alignment of business and procurement strategies, report procurement performance to joint objectives and P2P compliance.
  • Proactive engagement and communication of high-quality strategy summaries to the individual stakeholders for all high priority responsible Supply Chain and business initiatives.
  • Interface and build strong relationships within Ecolab (Country, Market and Regional Stakeholders)
  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIECNE:

  • Related degree in Business Management / Supply Chain /Logistics /Economics /Finance / Engineering
  • 3+ years Procurement experience including minimum 1 year of strategic sourcing experience.
  • CIPS, APICS, and/or CA qualifications viewed favourably.
  • Demonstrated track of delivering competitive advantage through sourcing strategies
  • Lead cross functional, cross market teams & stakeholders and successfully lead projects.
  • Demonstrated successful use of Total Cost of ownership (TCO) analysis, risk management, responsible sourcing, and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM)
  • Fluent in English

  • Formal Sourcing Process execution
  • Excellent understanding of spend category cost drivers and supply market.
  • Strong financial acumen– key business drivers, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Excellent analytical skills including proficient use of ERP System, MS Excel, and similar databases.
  • Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent influencing and change management skills
  • Strong initiative and problem-solving capabilities
  • Demonstrate integrity, honesty, and reliability in interpersonal relations.
