Description

• Performs difficult and complexfield engineering assignments involving the development, execution,supervision, and coordination of all technical aspects ofO&M and construction landscapeproject.
• Maintains first-level qualityassurance to confirm that the installation of all work withinhis/her discipline is in accordance with the plans, specifications,and industry standards. May supervise the construction engineeringwork and provide technical expertise for one or more of theconstruction engineering disciplines.
• Ensuresthat tests and inspections are performed, witnessed, and documentedin accordance with approvedprocedures.
• Collaborates with constructionmanagement to eliminate any hazards associated with the work thatmay adversely affect the environment or the safety or health ofemployees. Ensures that personnel of the assigned group engage insafe work practices in compliance with site-specific safetyprocedures and industry standards.
• Establishesand maintains liaison with the discipline design engineering staff.Reviews and interprets discipline design drawings andspecifications to ensure current revision level and correcttechnical execution of the work.
• Providesresolution for technical engineering problems within the assigneddiscipline(s); coordinates application ofsolutions.
• Develops discipline constructionschedules and monitor progress. Provides schedule and progressappraisal report to the ConstructionManager.
• Monitors material procurement anddeliveries to ensure timeliness in support of constructionactivities and schedule within the assigned discipline. Ensuresthat materials received meet specifications and establishedstandards of quality.
• Organizes theaccumulation of assigned discipline data for the final projectturnover and report.
• Initiates and maintainsrecords, back-charge procedures, progress reports, etc., asrequired.
