The Role

Company: Aleading construction company and tiles manufacturer

Responsibilities:

Project Planning:
o Develop detailed projectschedules and plans taking into consideration all projectrequirements constraints and deadlines. o Collaborate with projectmanagers architects engineers and other stakeholders to understandproject goals and objectives.


Resource Allocation:
o Identify andallocate resources including manpower equipment and materials tomeet project timelines. o Optimize resource utilization to ensureefficient and costeffective project execution.


Risk Management:
oIdentify potential risks and challenges that may impact the projectschedule. o Develop contingency plans and strategies to mitigaterisks and address unforeseen issues.


Progress Monitoring:
o Monitorand report on project progress identifying any deviations from theoriginal schedule. o Implement corrective actions as needed to keepthe project on track.


Communication:
o Maintain regularcommunication with project stakeholders to provide updates onproject status and any changes to the schedule. o Collaborate withdifferent teams to ensure alignment and understanding of projecttimelines.


Software Proficiency:
o Utilize project managementsoftware and tools to create update and manage project schedules. oStay current with industry trends and advancements in constructionplanning software.


Quality Control:
o Ensure that constructionplans align with quality standards and regulatory requirements. oCollaborate with quality control teams to incorporate qualityassurance measures into the project schedule.


Cost Estimation:
oAssist in cost estimation and budgeting processes to ensure thatprojects are financially viable. o Monitor and control projectcosts throughout the construction process.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Educational Background:
o Bachelors degree in Civil EngineeringConstruction Management or a related field


Experience:
o Relevantexperience in construction planning and scheduling. o Familiaritywith construction processes methodologies and industry bestpractices.


Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in project managementsoftware (e.g. Primavera P6 Microsoft Project). o Strongunderstanding of construction scheduling techniques andmethodologies.


Communication Skills:
o Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills. o Ability to collaborate effectively withcrossfunctional teams.


Analytical Skills:
o Strong analytical andproblemsolving abilities. o Ability to analyze data trends andproject variables to make informed decisions.


Attention to Detail:
o Meticulous attention to detail in creating and managing projectschedules. o Ability to identify and address potential issuesproactively.
