Description
Always come to work on time & with a clean uniform.- Ensure that proper preparation procedures have been completed.
- Prepare the cooking areas for the shift.
- Maintain the highest level of food quality.
- Communicate with coworkers, cashiers, dispatchers & management.
- Assist in the inventory count on a monthly basis.
- Account for every food item used.
- Maintain a clean, safe & organized kitchen.
- Follow all health and safety regulations.
- Follow all restaurant's regulations.
- Control and limit waste.
- Communicate problems & ideas to management.
- Maintain all kitchen equipment & utensils.
- Assist the storekeeper in receiving stocks.
- Follow proper rotation procedures (FIFO).
- Follow the recipes to meet the restaurant's standards.
- Be a team playersupport and assist your fellow team members whenever possible.
- Assist in other BOH positions when needed (i.e. stewarding).
- Take part in maintaining kitchen records.
- Follow outlined production & service items SOPs.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
