A Post-Doctoral Associate position isavailable at the Objects and Knowledge Laboratory, headed by Dr.
Olivia Cheung, at NYU Abu Dhabi ().

The postdoctoral associate willcarry out experiments on high-level vision (e.g., object, face,letter, scene recognition) in humans using behavioral, fMRI, andcomputational methods.

Potential research projects include, but arenot limited to, investigations of the influences of experience andconceptual knowledge on visualrecognition.

Applicants must have a Ph.
D.

inPsychology, Cognitive Neuroscience, Cognitive Science, or a relatedfield, and should possess strong programming skills (e.g., Matlabor Python) and a strong publication record in topics of high-levelvision.

Prior experience with fMRI, computational, orpsychophysical techniques is highly preferred. Initial appointmentis for two years, with the possibility of renewal.
