• Formulates and implements storestrategies and procedures to maximize sales, profitability andcommercial performance of all retail outlets for the BusinessUnit
• Identifies and monitors consolidatedretail operation's KPI's, targets andperformance against plan and initiates remedial actions in case ofdiscrepancy between actual and expectedperformance
• Analyses sales figures, forecastsfuture sales and interpret trends to facilitate strategicplanning.
• Maintains and monitors sales for all stores/locations; achieves budgeted profitabilityand growth of the retail stores within assignednetwork
• Oversees and works with the areamanagers and store management to ensure that store displays andinventory levels are adequate to meet the forecast salesbudget
• Monitors stock in collaboration with theMerchandising Director to achieve bottom line sales budget againstmonthly targets
• Identifies and implementsactions required to address stores experiencing decreasingsales
• Leads and implements strategies toenhance operational efficiencies in stores operations management byensuring store operations are in compliance with industry bestpractices and standards.
• Works closely with theLoss Prevention Manager to ensure that loss prevention programs arein place across all store locations
• Regulatesand approves payment of invoices for storeexpenses
• Tours the sales floor regularly, talksto colleagues and customers to help resolve urgentissues
• Maintains awareness of market trends;understands changing customer attitudes and buying preferences andmonitors the competition to ensure that sales opportunities aremaximized
• Oversees the productivity in storesthrough effective deployment and acquisition ofresources
• Sets the guidelines to ensure allstores are in compliance with required employment and state laws,health and safety standards
• Looks atprospective sites and evaluates new sites and coordinates with theProperty Department to share inputs; oversees new store openingsandre-fits

Requirements:

• Bachelor'sdegree in any discipline
• Master'sdegree in Business Administration ispreferred
• A minimum of years of relevantexperience with at least 4 years in a similar supervisory role inretail operations
