Job Description_


Role:
Joinery detailer and designer


Responsibilites:

  • Work closely with our sales team and clients to understand their design requirements and develop bespoke wooden joinery solutions that meet their needs.
  • Create detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD, ensuring that all dimensions and specifications are accurate and can be easily understood by our manufacturing team.
  • Propose design solutions that are functional, aesthetically pleasing, and feasible within the limitations of the materials and manufacturing techniques available.
  • Prepare sample submissions for clients, including all relevant documentation such as material specifications, finishes, and pricing.
  • Ensure that all designs and drawings comply with our quality standards and meet any regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate regularly with our manufacturing team to ensure that designs are being executed according to the technical drawings and specifications.
  • Have site experience and be able to instruct production teams on the execution of the design.
  • Oversee the manufacturing process and ensure that the final product meets the design specifications.
  • Stay uptodate with industry trends and best practices, and incorporate them into our designs and manufacturing processes as appropriate.

Requirements:


  • At least 4 years of experience in the interior fitout industry, with a focus on wooden joinery design and detailing.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to create accurate technical drawings.
  • Strong understanding of materials, finishes, and manufacturing techniques used in wooden joinery.
  • Ability to propose design solutions that are functional, aesthetically pleasing, and feasible within the limitations of the materials and manufacturing techniques available.
  • Site experience and ability to instruct production teams on the execution of the design.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with sales, manufacturing, and other teams.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Engineering or related field is preferred.

Salary:
Up to AED4,000.00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • Diploma (required)

Experience:


  • Joinery detailing: 2 years (required)
  • Design: 5 years (preferred)
