Clinica Sabah Specialty Hospital, a leading healthcare institution in Dubai, is seeking a highly professional and successful Receptionist to join our dynamic team.

As the first point of contact for our esteemed patients, you will play a vital role in ensuring exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming environment.

Fluency in English is essential for this role.


Responsibilities:

1- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a warm and courteous manner.

2- Provide accurate information about the hospital's services, specialties, and procedures.

3- Answer phone calls promptly and address inquiries or transfer calls to the appropriate department.

4- Schedule appointments, surgeries, and consultations in an organized and efficient manner.

5- Maintain electronic and paper records of patient information, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.

6- Coordinate with medical staff, nurses, and other departments to ensure smooth patient flow.

7- Assist patients with completing necessary forms and documentation.

Verify insurance information, collect co-payments, and handle billing inquiries professionally.
9- Ensure the reception area is clean, tidy, and presentable at all times.

10- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.

11- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of hospital policies, procedures, and services to provide accurate information to patients and visitors.

12- Stay updated on medical terminology, industry advancements, and changes in hospital services to offer informed assistance.


Requirements:


1- Proven work experience as a receptionist or in a similar customer service role, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.

2- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (both written and spoken).

3- Professional demeanor and ability to handle patients with empathy and compassion.

4- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.

5- Attention to detail and accuracy in managing patient records and administrative tasks.

6- Proficiency in using computer systems and electronic medical record (EMR) software.

7- Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with hospital procedures is a plus.

8- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.

9- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

10- A commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards.

Salary:
AED3, AED5,000.00 per month
