Job Purpose


For Business Banking, FX remittance is fastest growing product line in the region, with an increasing potential to tap more into existing base itself and based on numbers, this line to sustain its growth.

It is "key" to activate not only New to FX but also to increase the share of wallet by cross selling new products under the product basket.


Main Responsibilities

  • Book FX deals for BUB clients.
  • Handle requests from RMS and FX specialists for deal booking.
  • Ensure that all booked deals are utilized within the specified TAT as per the bank's guidelines.
  • Maintain deal recording and P&L on a daily basis.
  • Manage risk arising from Treasury sales team and deal booking activities.
  • Ensure that deals are booked as per the internal price/rate approval matrix.
  • Keep relevant approvals for rates on record.
  • Support Head of Cross sell with market feedback to develop a differentiated sales and business development approach for different regions.
  • Promote online channels as part of the bank's digital agenda.
  • Be fully aware of all policies relating to operational and market risk.
  • Assess product risk, reputation risk, and product suitability using global best practices.
  • Stay updated on currency fluctuations through qualitative and quantitative analysis.
  • Coach Business Banking Relationship Managers to enhance FX business generation opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities and size the FX wallet share of each client.
  • Conduct joint calls with Business Relationship Managers to understand client needs and provide advice.
  • Proactively solicit/manage business with riskreward parameters in conjunction with Business Banking Preposition.
  • Manage the pricing and margins for FX, considering customer profitability for each transaction.
  • Liaison with internal stakeholders to ensure service delivery to customers.
  • Work closely with all products and channel partners from retail banking to maximize opportunities through regular contact, feedback, coordination, and cross referrals.
  • Streamline existing processes with the help of product, Treasury, Compliance, and GOPS.
  • Assist RMs in resolving issues related to FX Business.
  • Manage endtoend transaction support for processes like stop and review and expand product sales in the segment to manage share of the wallet.
  • Ensure the maintenance of superior customer experience.
