    Pastries Chef

    We are seeking an experienced pastry chef to craft a variety of desserts, pastries, and other sweet goods.

    Our ideal candidate will possess exceptional baking skills, creativity, and the ability to develop new recipes and tastes.

    Responsibilities:

    • Create innovative desserts to refresh our menus and engage customer interest.
    • Decorate pastries using various icings, toppings, etc., ensuring visually appealing presentation.
    • Monitor baking ingredient stocks, including flour and sugar, and make timely orders within budget constraints.
    • Verify the quality of materials and condition of cooking equipment and devices.
    • Lead and motivate pastry assistants and bakers to optimize workflow efficiency.
    • Identify staffing needs and assist in recruiting and training personnel.
    • Maintain a clean and organized cooking station, adhering to health and safety standards.

    Requirements and Skills:

    • At least 1 year of proven experience as a pastry chef, baker, or relevant role.
    • Preferred Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
    • In-depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation, baking techniques, and nutrition.
    • Working knowledge of baking with ingredient limitations (gluten-free, sugarless pastries, etc.).
    • Certificate in culinary arts, pastry-making, baking, or a related field.

    Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. We offer a competitive compensation package and opportunities for growth and development within our company.
