    • Teaching andlearning:
    • To be able to teach all areas of theEarly Years Curriculum.
    • Thorough knowledge andan in-depth understanding of the new Early YearsCurriculum.
    • Organising the classroom, learningresources and creating displays to encourage a positive learningenvironment and support the development of the Al Mamoura USP inthis area.
    • Planning, preparing and presentinglessons that cater for the needs of the whole ability range withinthe class.
    • Providing support and interventionsfor students with EAL or who have additional learningneeds.
    • Motivating pupils with enthusiastic,imaginative presentation.
    • Evidencingchildren's work and learning in line with the Al MamouraAcademy Marking and Feedback policy.
    • Beingreflective of lessons taught and student progress, and adjustingplanning, curriculum and continuous provision to reflectthis.
    • Meeting with other professionals such asspeech and language therapists, occupational therapists andeducational psychologists, ifrequired.
    • Ensuring that the Al Mamoura AcademyTeacher and Learner DNA language and attributes are being embeddedthroughout the curriculum.
    • Contribute to thedevelopment of teaching and learning across the school by sharingbest practice, participating in school CPD and T&Linitiatives.
    • To be able to demonstrateeffective use of technology through innovative and creative lessondelivery and continuous provision.
    • Assessmentand data:
    • Taking responsibility for theattainment and progress of a class of children in the EYFS toensure that they reach above expectedexpectations.
    • Meeting the requirements for theassessment and recording of pupils' development usingTarget Tracker.
    • Using data provided byassessments to influence further planning andinterventions.
    • Providing regular feedback toparents and carers on a student's progress at ParentTeacher Conferences and other meetings.
    • Toplan, prepare and contribute to termly Pupil Progressmeetings.
    • Behaviour management andduties:
    • To follow the Al Mamoura Academybehaviour management policy and promote the Mascot Manners to sethigh expectations.
    • Manage classes effectively,using approaches which are appropriate to pupils' needsin order to inspire, motivate and challengepupils.
    • Maintain good relationships with pupilsand parents and follow the schools procedures to manage andchallenge any rare occurrences of unwantedbehaviour.
    • Be a positive role model anddemonstrate consistently the positive attitudes, values andbehaviour which are expected of pupils.
    • Carryout playground and other duties in a punctual, interactive andproactive manner.
    • Ensure that any concernsrelating to behaviour & safeguarding are accuratelyfollowed up on and logged on CPOMS.
    • Widerprofessional responsibilities
    • To work as partof a curriculum action group, supporting planning, assessment,resources and special events linked to thatteam.
    • Support with organising and taking partin school events, outings and activities which may take place atweekends or in the evening.
    • Communicateeffectively with parents/carers with regards to student'sachievements and well-being using schoolsystems/processes.
    • Make a positive contributionto the wider life and ethos of the school.
    • Torun a weekly ECA each term to enhance the provision we offer forour students.
