    Description
    Responsibilities

    Successful candidate shall perform below responsibilities:
    • Manage all engineering aspects of the Project to ensure the technical objectives are met within the approved scope, budget, and schedule
    • Provide leadership to the Engineering Department and the FEED Engineering Contractor
    • Ensure adequate technical expertise is available to perform technical reviews of deliverables developed by engineering consultants / contractors
    • Pursue economical design optimization
    • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, HSE guidelines, and best practices
    • Coordinate and interface with other Technical Departments, Business Units, Operations, and contractors / consultants to resolve technical issues and ensure quality engineering execution and integrity
    • Ensure quality and accuracy of Engineering Consultant's engineering activities and compliance with contract, project specifications, relevant codes and standards, and best practices
    • Manage technical aspects of Risk Management Plan
    • Manage technical aspects of Management of Change Program
    • Support the Quality Assurance Program
    • Oversee the development of ADNOC Onshore engineering staff assigned to the Project, and mentor junior engineers
    • Ensure technical requirements of the Brownfield scope are adequately defined and engineered
    • Provide technical and administrative guidance to the PMT and Contractor's engineering organizations
    • Oversee design optimization and validation
    • Sponsor layout, design, 3D Model, HAZID, and PHA reviews / workshops and ensure their completeness and quality
    • Ensure appropriate engineering expertise participation in the development and analysis of various design options and business models
    • Manage technical bid analysis activities
    • Interface with Team Leaders and Engineers in Company's Technical Departments, Business Units, Operations Units, and Logistics Department
    • Interface regularly with Contractor's Engineering and Project Management, and Contractor's discipline engineers and designers

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering
    • Minimum of twenty (20) years broad experience in all phases (i.e. engineering, procurement and construction) of major Oil & Gas capital projects and facilities design, with a minimum of 10 (ten) years as an Engineering Manager
    • Experience with contractors and worldwide suppliers, in particular those involved in the construction of major oil and gas facilities
    • Experience in the recruitment and development of technical staff
    • Ability to make independent decisions in the planning, organizing and coordinating to develop solutions to complex problems
    • Knowledge of relevant international codes and standards
    • Knowledge of engineering computer programs and general business software
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent technical team and interpersonal skills
