Position:
Arabic Translator Intern


Location:
Dubai World Trade Center

Duration: 3 months


Job Summary:


As an Arabic Translator Intern, you will provide linguistic support and facilitate effective communication between our organization and Arabic-speaking clients and stakeholders.

This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in translation, cultural adaptation, and cross-cultural communication.


Key Responsibilities:

Translation and Interpretation:
Translate written documents from English to Arabic and vice versa, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and cultural relevance.


Cultural Adaptation:
Ensure that translated materials are culturally appropriate and sensitive to the nuances of the Arabic language and culture.


Collaboration:
Collaborate with members of the team to understand project requirements and goals. Work closely with other team members to ensure consistency in language use and style across various projects.


Quality Assurance:
Conduct thorough proofreading and editing of translated materials to maintain high-quality standards. Seek feedback from team members and make necessary revisions to improve translations.


Research:
Stay informed about industry-specific terminology and updates to ensure accurate translation of technical content. Research and stay updated on cultural and linguistic trends to enhance translation effectiveness.


Documentation:
Maintain organized and detailed documentation of translation projects, including glossaries and reference materials. Track and report on project progress and key milestones.


Professional Development:
Actively seek opportunities for professional development, including attending workshops, webinars, and conferences related to translation and language proficiency.


Qualifications:

  • Fluency in GCC Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong understanding of Arabic culture and nuances.
  • Pursuing a degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering highquality work.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Proficiency in translation tools and software is a plus.

AED1, AED1,500.00 per month
