Roles and Responsibilities


Advise our cards / ePayments team on managing day to day functions of card operations, including: custody and reconciliation of blank security plastics, updating operations risk database, returning undelivered cards, handling captured cards, archiving daily files and documents.

Advise the team on creating and maintaining new card products, like: Islamic Credit Card, Debit Cards, prepaid cards, etc.

Manage acquiring operation functions ranging from merchant onboarding, maintenance and settlement, including proposing enhancements.

Continuous monitoring of performance of cards/ePayments staff, mentor, motivate, guide and train them to ensure that optimized performance.

Work closely with sales, marketing and IT units to ensure operational support whenever a new product is launched.

Liaise with payment schemes, card issuers and acquirers on card operational related issues. Keep track of any updates to payment scheme regulations / fees and make recommendations / changes to operational procedures.

Monitor the daily repetitive activities in account opening, compliance, etc and provide solutions to minimize manual involvement.

Highlight daily challenges that impact client experiences and recommend ways to improve the client journey.

Highlight any duplication of efforts and propose quick fixes.

End to end process management and product modelling.

Financial analysis / modelling of products / valuation.

Industry and market research for business evaluation and strategic assessment.

Innovation in business and idea generation


Qualifications
English (required)

BBA/BCom is required, Master's (preferred).

Experience in accounting

Experience in ICS Banks core system is a plus.

Good communication and listening skills.

The ability to explain complex information clearly and simply.

Previous experience in banking or payment gateways environment is a plus.


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Education:


  • Bachelor's (preferred)

Experience:

- payment systems architect: 2 years (preferred)
