JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation and maintenance of financial transactions, bookkeeping, operational report, financial forecast and accounting.
  • Lead account reconciliation and analysis processes, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, bank transactions, deposits, accrued expenses, investments and intercompany balances.
  • Oversee management of petty cash accounts, ensuring proper handling and documentation.
  • Cashflow management.
  • Generate comprehensive accounts payable and receivable reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate expert knowledge of accounting procedures and principles, including adherence to IFRS regulations.
  • Prepare and present financial statements and management reports as necessary for informed decisionmaking.
  • Payroll preparation and maintenance of employee records including salaries, payouts to various parties.
  • Responsible for HR related matters.
  • Manage journal entries, including recurring entries and allocations for both domestic and international operations.
  • Remotely take care of all accounting matters of the employer overseas operation.
  • Independently prepare and submit VAT returns for UAE companies within specified deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct periodic physical stock checks.
  • Provide support for office documentation and followup tasks during employee absences or as requested.
  • Secures financial information by completing database backups.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment by effectively engaging with internal stakeholders.
  • Uphold a strong sense of responsibility, loyalty and ethical conduct in all business dealings.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant UAE experience in accounting is mandatory.
  • A bachelor's degree in commerce or business administration is mandatory.
  • Applicants must be fluent in English with proficiency in speaking, writing and reading. Knowledge of other languages will be an added advantage.
  • Previous working experience with ERP accounting systems is required with experience in Zoho's books will be an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.

Salary:
AED6, AED8,000.00 per month
