Description

• To support the Executive Chef inplanning, organizing, directing and managing all activities withinthe Pasty & Bakery food preparation of thehotel.
• To implement the efficient anddiplomatic approaches in all situations involving any aspect inPastry & Bakery where reputation of the hotel isrepresented.
• To train and manage pastrypersonnel and supervise/coordinate all relatedactivities.
• To estimate pastry consumption andrequisition or purchase items
• To research andcirculate findings of all new pastry initiatives and trends, and toensure that the hotel leads the market in terms of quality and newproduct innovation.
• To maintain properequipment operation/maintenance, and ensure proper safety andsanitation in pastry and kitchen areas.
• Toensure that the workplace remains clean and tidy and the safety ofconsumable goods by always respecting HACCP regulations.
  

Qualifications

• Showing the capabilities to prepareand create pastries, cakes, cookies and other sweets. Both Westernand Arabic will be advantages.
• Having provensustainable working experience in the same or similar position inPastry section in international chainhotel.
• Having certification in baking andculinary art, and/or education background inhospitality.
• Having good leadership and timemanagement skills
• Willing to relocate and livein Fujairah, UAE.
