Our client is a major corporate with a portfolio of high growth companies which is based in the UAE. The company operates internationally and is actively investing in and expanding into new areas and businesses.

What the job involves

We are seeking a conscientious legal counsel, who is a qualified lawyer with experience from practice or a high-growth corporate within the UAE.

The role is based in the UAE.

Active across commercial contracts, arbitration and litigation
Oversee administrative aspects including registration, licensing and neutralization requirements
Conduct research on relevant legal issues, local laws and related government regulations to facilitate the business's operations
Represent the team and the company to the highest standard
Able to represent the company's legal interests in an assertive, constructive way
Play a role in supporting M&A transactions
Able to drive growth initiatives from a legal perspective in concert with the business and the board
Able to provide support on specific projects, and help manage external counsel as required
Approachable, with a friendly but resilient style
