    Description

    Job Role

    • Support patent attorneys in procedural work, translation, and administration.
    • Assist with design filing applications, preparing drawings and documents.
    • Monitor deadlines, file requests for examination, and prepare reports.
    • Translate official notices, monitor client payment status, and chase payments.
    • Prepare responses to office actions, amended claims, and late filing documents.
    • Conduct patent searches, download documents, and screen results.
    • Navigate the UAE and Saudi Arabia Patent Office Portal, and file cases online.
    • Report on letters patent, prepare amended claims, and send annuity reminders.
    • Update IPPO reminders, prepare cost estimates, and communicate with departments.

    Candidate Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in English or a dual degree in English & Law.
    • Patent background is preferred, but not required.
    • Excellent spoken and written English skills (TEM 8 level or above).
    • Strong communication skills, high sense of responsibility, patience, and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work under pressure, be a team player, and demonstrate initiative and self-discipline.
