- Overall cleaning of the guestrooms toinclude, but not limited to: dusting, making beds, soiled linenremoval from rooms, and retrieval of clean linen from linenclosets, vacuuming, bathroom cleaning, inside window cleaning,replenish rooms with supplies, etc. as per brandstandards.
- To use the cleaning in progress signand keep the doors closed at all times, when making uprooms.
- To call room service for removal oftrays/trolleys.
- Maintain proper usage ofcleaning supplies and equipment.
- Take accurateroom status reports at the end of theshift.
- Keep linen closets, supply closet andlanding organized and clean.
- Empty vacuumcleaner each time when it is nearlyfull.
- Reports any problems or questions toSupervisor assigned to your floor
- Offerassistance to guest and colleagues in a courteousmanner.
- Use hands to lift, carry, or pullobjects that may be heavy.
- Submit instantly andturn over to security any lost and founditems.
- Take responsibility for reporting anyrooms, which do not require service, DND, not slept in on assignedfloor.
- To report to Floor Housekeeper anymattress protector, blankets, bedspreads, valances in need ofchange.
- To report any suspicious person toHousekeeping office or security.
- Informanything, which may be a Health & Safetyhazard.
- Maintain excellent grooming and uniformstandards.
- To report any equipmentmalfunctioning.
- Read, Understand and follow alldepartment policies
- Other duties asassigned.
- High School diploma, vocationaltraining and/or 1 year work experience.
- Fluentin English (written & verbal)essential.
- Previous experience in luxury hotelenvironment desirable but notessential
- Friendly and pleasant dispositionwith people interaction skills.
- High level ofpersonal cleanliness andgrooming.
