    Role Overview

    We're looking for an Operations Training Specialist to oversee the organizational training strategy for our operations team and assess its impact. This specialist will identify training and developmental needs to drive training initiatives that build loyalty to the company while working across departments to get the team up to speed in their specific vertical.

    Main Responsibilities

    Planning and Coordination:

    1. Coordinate the training schedule and training calendar with all MP trainers.
    2. Coordinate with trainers, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to ensure availability and alignment with training objectives and training-related projects.
    3. Collaborate closely with HR to ensure each team member has completed necessary documents.
    4. Responsible for updating the onboarding and planned calendar for all team members.

    Participant Management:

    1. Ensure new joiners are following the training schedule as per the training calendar.
    2. Update and assist trainers in quiz and survey links and coordinate with the Training Team.
    3. Attend all meetings related to training topics.
    4. Responsible for giving the knowledge assessment exam during probation or if needed.
    5. Responsible for conducting quarterly knowledge assessments for all Junior Team Members.
    6. Conduct or assist in train-the-trainer sessions with the help of other stakeholders.

    Administrative Tasks:

    1. Design and prepare training tools like curriculum, SOPs, or presentations.
    2. Ensure training materials, such as session slides, quizzes, and surveys, are prepared for the trainers.
    3. Prepare training-related documentation, such as training agendas, handouts, and certificates.
    4. Handle post-training tasks, such as compiling feedback from participants and trainers.
    5. Responsible for updating the profile and training progress for each team member on the Digital Passport.

    Communication:

    1. Coordinate with Training Manager, or other stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals and training needs.
    2. Collaborate with HR to ensure new joiners are properly onboarded.
    3. Collaborate with the Training Managers, Operations Team, and Cross-Functional Teams on other SOPs that need to be documented.
    4. Serve as a liaison between trainers, trainees, and other stakeholders.

    Evaluation and Reporting:

    1. Assist in identifying training needs and gaps within operations.
    2. Collect feedback from trainees and trainers each session to evaluate training effectiveness.
    3. Analyze training data and prepare reports on key metrics such as participant satisfaction, learning outcomes, and training impact on employee's skills and KPIs.
    4. Make recommendations for improvements based on evaluation results.

    Monitoring and Tracking:

    1. Monitor and update training progress in the implementation plan.
    2. Assist or create training visuals such as PowerPoint presentations.
    3. Regularly check all updates for all operational-related SOPs. Schedule a Document Audit if needed.
    4. Responsible for controlling, organizing, and storing all training passports.
    5. Record all completed training sessions by stamping and stickering each team member's training passport.

    Ideal Candidate:

    1. A background in the Food/Bulk Cooking Industry of at least 1-2 years.
    2. Experience in Training Coordinator or similar role at least 1-3 years.
    3. Result-oriented/Result-driven.
    4. Able to effectively communicate in both verbal and written English.
    5. Attention to detail and ensuring accuracy of information in the training materials and other training resources.
    6. Enjoys learning and is committed to continuous improvement/development.

    Knowledge & Competency:

    1. Adaptability and flexibility. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust training plans based on feedback or changing training needs.
    2. Strong organizational skills.
    3. Able to work on multiple projects, and work with tight deadlines.
    4. Technology proficiency and familiarity with Google Docs, Sheets, Slides/Powertpoint, and Google Forms.
    5. Experience with training apps and other training platforms is a major plus.

    Personality:

    3. Ability to work both independently and in a team.
    4. Eager to learn.
    5. Friendly and pleasant personality that is able to lead with empathy and patience.
