Expertise in BIM Software: Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit MEP, Navisworks, and AutoCAD MEP is essential. You should be able to create 3D models of MEP systems and components, incorporating detailed information such as dimensions, materials, and performance data.
Collaborative Work: BIM promotes collaboration and coordination among different stakeholders involved in a construction project. You'll work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and other professionals to integrate MEP designs seamlessly into the overall building model.

Clash Detection:

Using BIM software, you'll develop accurate 3D models of MEP systems, allowing for better visualization and understanding of the design.

Your role also involves clash detection, identifying and resolving conflicts between MEP elements and other building components to minimize errors and rework during construction.
