- Manage all administrativefunctions of the Materials Department, inclusive of staffing,training and fulfillment of other relatedduties
- Maintain logical storeroom inventorylevels operationally needed
- Oversee overallhygiene, fire and safety, proper storing arrangement, cleanlinessof storerooms and freezers according to corporate, local andinternational Standards
- Inform management anddepartment heads on pending items, new procedures, systemdifficulties and other related matters
- Obtainwritten approval for established stock levels by the Director ofFinance / Financial Controller and GeneralManager
- Issue regularly slow moving itemlists
- Ensure validity of items are available,force issue obsolete items and follow up on action taken fordisposal
- Verify that all documentation andproper quotations are maintained and filed according to RotanaPolicy and Procedurerequirements
