    We have an exciting opportunity for a Vice President to lead our growing charter schools based in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain

    Job Purpose:
    • To lead teachers, students and community on a journey of learning and discovery,
      both individually and collectively, in which they are able to achieve their goals and dreams
    • To build effective relationships with key stakeholders and to ensure that a positive and collaborative culture is embedded in line with the school vision and core values.
    • To engage collaboratively with the leaders and educators of the schools to optimise the collective benefits that the schools provide to the communities of Abu Dhabi
    Accountabilities (Non-Exhaustive):

    .Implement the school vision, values and strategic approach to connect and inspire the school community to collectively achieve educational excellence.

    .Inspire and support school leaders and teachers to lead the way as innovators and architects of imaginative, future-focused, high impact, educational design and delivery

    .Ensure a learning approach and environment in which students are:

    Motivated by a shared purpose of growth and development for all

    Inspired, engaged and challenged by their learning experiences each day

    Explicitly pursuing and achieving their own learning goals, expectations, pathways, and achievements

    Building their skills, insights and understanding to effectively engage in any learning challenge

    Developing the qualities to contribute in a rapidly developing world - locally, nationally and globally

    .Lead the school in the development of creative, innovative and engaging curriculum design and delivery that meets all regulatory requirements and produces outstanding results

    .Ensure school compliance with regulatory authorities, accreditation agencies, corporate regulations and policies, including coordinating School Improvement Plans

    .Promote a school culture that is dynamic, engaging, inclusive, collaborative and outward looking

    in which each member is valued and has a clear commitment to the goals and strategic directions of the school

    .Engage parents to play a key role in supporting their children as partners in their learning

    .Engage academic and business partnerships that provide opportunities for students to have a wide variety of enhanced learning experiences and opportunities

    .Ensure UAE values are deeply embedded into the daily life of the school, while also contributing to the UAE Centennial Plan 2071

    .Apply key principles and ensure highly effective systems, structures, processes and practices are in place for child safety, health and wellbeing, human resource management, financial management and accountability, and other legislative and policy requirements in relation to serving the community and broader society

    .Ensure quality, regular, and routine monitoring and accountability processes are established to assess, review and guide the ongoing performance and development of the school

    .Ensure performance management process are in place to support the ongoing development and appraisal of all staff

    .Ensure leadership and teacher development, succession planning and recruitment strategies support outstanding delivery of educational experiences and outcomes

    .Promote and engage in collaboration and partnerships with other schools to share expertise and develop creative, high quality educational experiences for students and teachers

    .Complete any other duty as required by line managers to reasonably ensure the delivery of educational and operational excellence.



    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Education or other relevant field with a teaching qualification.
    • 10 years' educational experience with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a leadership role in education.
      Or
    • Postgraduate qualification in Education
    • 8 years' educational experience with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a leadership role
    • A high proficiency in English language is essential.
    • Experience of working in a K-12 American curriculum school or international educational setting would be advantageous although not essential.
    • Highly effective relationship management with a variety of stakeholders.
    • Flexible and capable of managing growth and instilling high standards.
    • Adept in multilingual settings, spirited, pioneering, professional and nurturing.
    • Teaching experience would be advantageous.
    • Experience in a Charter School is preferred.
