    Job Description

    The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate costing of quotes and the production of tenders under the supervision of the Tendering Manager. They will work closely with the After Sales/Service team on Brownfield modification projects involving switchgear.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Analyze RFQs, including identifying the correct product range.
    • Interface with other COMECA global teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
    • Conduct specification analysis to prepare for bid compliance and complete data sheets.
    • Enter data into the CRM system.
    • In consultation mode, take charge of the complete interface with customers up to the point of placing an order.
    • Perform analysis of electrical drawings files.
    • Provide support to the sales team.

    Requirements

    • Degree in a relevant electrical discipline.
    • Experience in tender preparation for LV Switchgear, Battery Chargers & UPS.
    • Familiarity with EV chargers and high power rectifiers is an added advantage.
    • Able to analyze and interpret electrical schematics, SLD, and specifications.
    • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in an O&G environment.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
    • Proficient in MS Office and Google Workspace.
    • Able to edit .pdf and AutoCAD files.
    • Strong organizational skills.
    • Familiarity with ISO- and MS Dynamics is desirable.
    • Must be fluent in English (verbal and written).
    • Knowledge of ECMS/ IPCS systems based on Siemens Automation products is an added advantage.
