    Description

    KeyResponsibilities

    • Financial Management:
      • Budgeting and forecasting: Develop and managethe business annual budget taking into account revenue projectionscost controls and strategic priorities as well as quarterlyforecast updates to assess performance against thebudget.
      • Financial reporting: Oversee thepreparation and distribution of financial reports to executiveleadership providing a clear picture of the businesss financialstatus including revenue expenses and other key performanceindicators.
      • Financial analysis: Conductindepth financial analysis assessing the financial impact ofvarious decisions and initiatives. Use financial data to supportstrategic planning and performance improvement.
      • Project reviews: Review of project performance againstbaseline budgets including cash collection and provide varianceanalysis as well as supporting project teams on corporate reportingrequirements.
      • Risk management: Identifyfinancial risks and develop risk management strategies to protectthe businesss financial assets and reputation.
      • Bid support: Provide rigour and challenge during the bidprocess including advising on tax treasury and cashflowmatters.
      • Cost control: Implement costcontrolmeasures to ensure efficient use of resources and maintainprofitability while also identifying opportunities for costreduction without compromising service delivery.
    • Strategic Leadership:
      • Strategic planning: Collaborate with senior leadership todevelop business plans and financial strategies that align with thebusinesss overall mission and goals provide insights on howdecisions impact longterm financial sustainability.
    • Team Management:
      • Team leadership: Build and lead a finance team ensuringthat they are welltrained motivated and aligned with the businessfinancial goals.
      • Professional development:Support the ongoing professional development of staff ensuring theystay updated with industry trends and regulations and internationalfinancial standards.
    • Stakeholder Communication:
      • Regional management: Present financial updatesand recommendations to the business and regional leadership teamsensuring they are wellinformed about the business financialperformance.
      • Executive collaboration:Collaborate with other executives and department heads to alignfinancial strategies with operational and financialgoals.
    • Compliance AndRegulatory Oversight:
      • Compliance: Ensurecompliance with all Group Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) andother areas of internal governance.
      • Audits:Manage financial audits and coordinate with external auditors toensure transparency and adherence to financialstandards.

    EssentialCriteria

    • Bachelors Degree inAccounting Finance or Business
    • Accountingqualification (CIMA ACCA ICAEW etc). Post qualified 10years
    • Financially & commercially awarewith ability to see the bigger picture
    • Drivenfocus on control and accuracy
    • Business partnerbut with proven ability to remain independent whenappropriate
    • Ability to manage/get the requiredsupport from indirect reports and otherteams
    • Accomplished written and numeric reportwriting skills
    • Accomplished communication andinfluencing skills
    • Ability to prioritize tasksand manage multiple stakeholderrelationships
    • Ability to mentor finance andnonfinance staff
