    Description
    We are looking for a SeniorApplication Cloud Architect to work out of Brussels for a EuropeanInstitution. The role is Hybrid and flexible to a certain extentbut the consultant needs to be based in or aroundBrussels.

    DESCRIPTIONOF THETASKS:
    • Thefollowing tasks will be performed by an external service provider:Analysis of the integration of different informationsystems.
    • Dataanalysis and datamodelling.
    • Coordinationof the implementation of the technical architecture. Technicalinterface between the project leaders and the developers.Production of software architecturedocuments.
    • Participationin technical working groups, progress meetings, and meetings withtheusers.
    • Assistanceduring relevant parts of testing, analysis, technicaldocumentation, development, deployment, evaluation, andreporting.
    • Creatingdesigns and blueprints of CloudArchitecture.
    • Reviewof the architecture of existing systems to migrate of the existingsystem to the cloud. Design and development of architecturecomponents and building blocks using cloudcomponents.


    Requirements


    MustHaveExperience:
    • 10+years experience in architecture and design of information systems
    • 8+ years experience in Java (bothwith J2SE and J2EE) with extensive use of designpatterns
    • 5+ years experience indeveloping secure webapplications
    • 5+ years experience inObject Oriented design patterns, e.g. Aspect-Oriented Programming(AOP)
    • 8+ years experience inrelational databases (Oracle, MySQL,etc.)
    • 8+ years experience with SQLlanguage
    • 5+ years experience withXML
    • 6+ years experience with theSpring framework
    • 5+ years experiencewith Angular2 framework orsimilar
    • 5+ years experience in thedevelopment of web services
    • 3+ yearsexperience with JIRA andGIT
    • Bachelors Degree inIT
    • EnglishLevelC1+
    • EUNational or PermanentResident

    MustHaveSkills:
    • Goodknowledge of architecture best practices and patterns.
    • Good knowledge of microservices andarchitecture in the cloud.
    • Goodknowledge of applicationdesign.
    • Good knowledge of modelingtools.
    • Good knowledge of EnterpriseArchitecture. Good knowledge of RelationalDBMS.
    • Good knowledge of businessprocess analysis.
    • Knowledge ofinteroperability technology (web services, message-orientedmiddleware, service-oriented bus, eventarchitecture).
    • Ability to cope withfast-changing technologies used in application architecture anddesign. Excellent interpersonal and communicationskills

    Benefits

    • Location:Brussels (on-site/hybrid/ need to be located in Belgium or wants torelocate)

    We are after someone who has had varied and balanced experience inthe field and would meet the below requirements. Must Have: 3+years of experience in systems development and security Practicalknowledge of designing security architecture, demonstratingsolutions delivery, principles and emerging technologies -Designing and implementing security solutions. This includescontinuous monitoring and making improvements to those solutions,working with an information security team. 2+ years of experiencein testing complex systems Experience In consulting and designingIT Security Systems Practical knowledge of cloud computing andsecurity: data breaches, broken authentication, hacking, accounthijacking, malicious insiders, third parties, APTs, data loss andDoS attacks.
