A Van Sales Executive in the food trading industry is a dynamic and pivotal role focused on driving sales and fostering relationships with clients through direct engagement.
This position involves managing a predefined sales territory with a focus on increasing product penetration, enhancing visibility, and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
The ideal candidate is a proactive and engaging individual with experience in sales, preferably within the food industry, showcasing a track record of success in managing and servicing accounts.
You will be responsible for identifying potential client needs and presenting suitable product offerings that align with the business objectives.
This role requires excellent communication skills, a flexible approach to working hours, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

ResponsibilitiesDrive van sales within an assigned territory to meet the company's objectives.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients.
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through door-to-door visits.
Manage and optimize product displays to maximize customer interest and sales.
Provide feedback on customer needs, competitive activity, and pricing trends.
Negotiate sales agreements and handle customer inquiries and concerns effectively.
Track sales performance and provide regular reports to management.
Ensure accurate fulfillment of orders and timely delivery of goods to clients.
Coordinate with the warehouse and logistics teams for inventory management.
Implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market reach.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to sales strategy discussions.
Maintain a high level of product knowledge and provide training to clients.
Requirements
Prior experience in a sales position, preferably within the food industry.
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in previous roles.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential.
Proficiency in sales software and office suite applications.
Flexibility to work various hours and travel as needed within the territory.
