Storekeeper


As a Store Keeper for our interior design manufacturing company, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our inventory of raw materials, finished goods, and supplies.

You will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and effective operations by overseeing the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials in our warehouse.

Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will contribute to the smooth functioning of our company's supply chain.


Responsibilities:


  • Receive, inspect, and verify the accuracy of incoming materials, products, and supplies.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of all items within the warehouse.
  • Monitor inventory levels regularly and reorder materials as needed to prevent stock shortages.
  • Coordinate with purchasing and production teams to maintain accurate records of inventory transactions.
  • Perform regular stock counts and reconcile any discrepancies.
  • Prepare and maintain reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and damages.
  • Implement and maintain effective inventory control procedures to optimize stock accuracy and minimize losses.
  • Safely handle and store hazardous materials in accordance with applicable safety guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to fulfill customer orders accurately and on time.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to improve operational efficiency and implement process enhancements.
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and proficiently, adhering to all safety protocols.

Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in warehouse management is a plus.
  • Proven work experience as a Store Keeper, Warehouse Clerk, or similar role.
  • Knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices.
  • Proficient in using inventory management software and tools.
  • Familiarity with interior design manufacturing processes and materials is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Detailoriented with exceptional accuracy in recording and maintaining inventory data.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated problemsolving abilities and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures for handling hazardous materials.
  • Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment is an advantage.

Salary:
AED3, AED4,000.00 per month
