Product Owner - Fintech and Emerging TechnologyLocation: Abu DhabiRole Purpose:

Lead a team of highly talented engineers and designers to envision, prioritize and build innovative digital products that will shape the industry for a new generation of tech-savvy customers.

Build and maintain partnerships with external fintech companies, startups, and technology providers.

Work closely with business sponsors to identify key pain points and to collaboratively design and build solutions that delight customers and empower internal staff using emerging technologies.

Ensuring that the team is staying updated on the latest trends, technologies, and developments within the fintech and emerging tech landscape.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for integrating cutting-edge solutions and enhancing our financial services.


Key Accountabilities of the role:
Research, analyze, and evaluate emerging fintech trends, including blockchain, AI, machine learning, digital currencies, and others.
Build and maintain partnerships with external fintech companies, startups, and technology providers.
Lead or contribute to innovation initiatives and related to fintech and emerging technology.

Identify KPIs and use them as a cornerstone for team focus and prioritiesCollaborate with product, development, and business teams to identify areas for technological advancement and enhancement of financial products/services.

Innovation in Products with cross-functional teams and think creatively to deliver first class digital solutions that create rapid impact for employees, customers or advisorsCollaborate with Design, Technology, and POs to implement fintech solutions that improve operational efficiency, customer experience, and risk management.

Stay informed about regulatory changes and compliance requirements related to fintech and emerging technologies.
Provide subject matter expertise and training to internal teams, ensuring a deep understanding of fintech toolsPrepare and present product visions and proposals to the leadership team when requiredGain an in-depth understanding of customers and users and gather key insights that will shape the digital experienceManage expectations with business sponsors and company executivesDefine MVPs, manage product backlog priorities, and strategically de-scope to achieve rapid feedback cycles

Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge, Technical Competencies Required for this role:

Proven experience in fintech, emerging technology, or related roles.
Strong knowledge of blockchain, AI, machine learning, digital payments, and other relevant technologies.
Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance in the context of emerging technologies.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Deep experience in Digital Product development and marketingExperience with designing creative, quality consumer products, as well as enabling capability and objectives through technologyExperience of operating within a multi-channel/multi region brandKnowledge of Lean and agile software development processes


Previous experience:
7+ years of total experience including 3+ years leading product development and digitizationWorked using lean and agile software development processesImplemented Digitization of Processes using Fintech solutionsExperience of operating within a multi-channel/multi-region brand
