Description

• Bachelor's Degree in CivilEngineering
• Progressively responsibleexperience in construction work with emphasis on materials testing,quality control and assurance, laboratory testing and a firmunderstanding of requirements and specifications of testing andmaterials.
• Demonstrated experience inpre-stressing works and quality control, and experience indifferent classes of concrete mix-design, under different conditionof construction procedures.
• Knowledge ofprocurement practices an advantage.
  
  

Responsibilities:

• Review the material Data sheet andconfirm its compliance to the requiredspecifications
• Preparation of the methodstatement and ensure its approval from the concerned prior toimplementation
• Review the comments on themethod statement and ensure team awareness and compliance orpropose an alternative approach/process whennecessary
• Submit inspection request and reviewas well as follow up the outcome and circulate results to theconcerned
• Issue internal or onsite observationsand propose solutions
• Conduct site surveillanceregularly
• Prepare weekly and monthly QA-QCreports
• Demonstrated planning andorganizational skills and ability to coordinate the work of others,work on tight deadlines, and handle multiple concurrentactivities;
• High degree of personal initiativeand willingness to accept wideresponsibilities;
• Excellent interpersonalskills, ability to establish and maintain effective workingrelationships in a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic environment withsensitivity and respect fordiversity;
• Excellent communication skills(spoken, written and presentational), including ability to presentsensitive issues/positions and to write reports and technicaldecisions quantitatively justified;
• Proficiencyin usage of computers, office software packages and advance designmanagement software.
• Competent user of projectcontrol software, such as MS Project orprimavera.
