    • The Events sales coordinator willbe the main point of contact for the client and the entire eventoperation (including banquet, accounting, technical, audio visual,rooms division and kitchen).
    • To communicateeffectively with all department within the hotel involved incarrying out the needs of a group / event.
    • Tocoordinate with other departments the needs of a group / eventwhich will directly affect that department (i.e. amenities,arrival/departure time, deliveries, and special mealrequirements).
    • To maintain the policies setforth in the group sales contract (i.e. deposits, cut off dates,attrition, rooming lists, billinginstructions).
    • To coordinate the sales effortsbetween events department and catering to ensure proper utilizationof function space to yield maximum revenues.
    • Tohave an excellent knowledge of hotel facilities, capacities anddimensions of meeting rooms.
    • The ability tonegotiate & achieve maximum revenue/profit potential whilesatisfying client needs.
    • To conduct tours ofthe property with potentialclients.
