    The First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) is seeking an experienced professional to join the Global Markets Business Finance team. The successful candidate will contribute to digitalization initiatives, global markets rollouts, and trade booking and accounting gaps.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist in providing guidance to colleagues on financials' revisions and trade booking metrics.
    • Promote the bank's values and ethics within the team.
    • Provide inputs and implement controls for tactical and strategic solutions.
    • Participate in identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

    Reporting:

    • Re-engineer processes to facilitate management and financial reporting and analysis.

    Job Context:

    • Support the team in understanding Global markets financial products and expected accounting treatment.
    • Support Product Control Team on changes relating to FAB GM PC systems.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to support new business activity deployment.
    • Review business needs and translate them into application functional requirements.
    • Contribute to identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Accounting, Finance, or Mathematics.
    • Qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
    • Strong understanding of capital markets and financial market products.
    • Ability to manipulate large volumes of data efficiently.
    • Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills, and problem-solving skills.
    • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role in a reputable international/global bank.
