About The Role

We are on the lookout for anexperienced Procurement Manager Sourcing with a solid background inEngineering and Facilities. This role falls under the strategicsourcing team where fluency with running tenders and putting longterm contracts in place is necessary.

As the Procurement Manager Sourcingyou will be responsible for optimising the efficiency of thesourcing department by devising strategic plans which focus onachieving customer satisfaction whilst reducing costs to thebusiness. Duties will include planning scheduling initiatingmonitoring and quality assurance of all procurement and contractactivities. This role requires independent and professionaljudgment and is performed under the general direction of theDirector Procurement. In this role is will also be required toachieve the wider business objectives including a streamlinedstrategic sourcing procedure across all stakeholders and will alsorequire an analytical solutiondriven individual who can adhere tostrict deadlines whilst managing multiple priorities simultaneouslyand is naturally enthusiastic about the luxury hospitalityindustry. You will also oversee every aspect of the sourcingprocess and will determine the companys service measures deliverycriteria and solutions for issues that may arise.

AboutYou

Thesuccessful Procurement Manager Sourcing will have a relevantbachelors degree in Business Economics Supply Chain InternationalBusiness Business Administration or a related field and have aminimum of 34 years experience in successfully managing thestrategic sourcing function and delivering results in a fastpacedenvironment. You will have previous experience demonstrating theability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and becomfortable with tender process and contracts management. Inaddition to this you will have exceptional interpersonal andcommunication skills and be able to interface effectively with alllevels of management.

In this role you will also have the natural ability toeffectively influence through knowledge relationship management andtrust and have exceptional creative and analytical problemsolvingskills with a strong desire to constantly grow and evolve.Experience working within a largescale hotel or resort would alsobe preferred.

Excellent Microsoft Office knowledge is also required andyou will have experience with Word processing spreadsheetsPowerPoint presentations contract software ERP and eSourcing.Having prior experience working with suppliers and resources withinthe UAE market is preferred.
