As an Accounts and Admin Executive at our CEO's family office (Merlin DMCC), you will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial tasks, including a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of transaction records and assisting in the preparation of financial reports.

In addition to your accounting responsibilities, you will also be responsible for managing day-to-day administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, maintaining files, and handling correspondence.

With a can-do attitude, you will efficiently handle any task that comes your way and contribute to the overall success of the organisation.

Your challenges

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the family office, ensuring smooth and efficient processes for all financial and administrative activities, including monthend and yearend period closing, inventory control, accounts payable and receivable, and general ledger.
  • Oversee and manage the company's banking facilities and operational transactions, including cash management, payments, and compliance with regulatory requirements, to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to internal policies and procedures.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly financial results, annual budgets, and other financial analyses as required, to provide management with a clear and comprehensive view of the financial performance of the organisation.
  • Act as a primary liaison with bankers, lawyers, external consultants, and government authorities as needed to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and facilitate the effective management of financial and administrative activities.
  • Issue accurate and timely invoices and process payments promptly, ensuring that all financial transactions are processed accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements, including MFRS, to minimise risk and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting.

Requirements:


  • University degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Confidence, team spirit, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills
  • Attention to detail, high motivation, and results orientation
