Job brief
We are looking for an experienced Merchandiser to support the daily retail operations by ensuring that the right products are at the right stores with the right quantity and prices every time.
Responsibilities
- Planning and developing merchandising strategies
- Execute the planned dispatches
- Define and manage retail prices and offer prices in the stores
- Plan and develop merchandising strategies that balance customers' expectations and company's objectives
- Analyse sales figures, customers reactions and market trends to anticipate product needs and plan product ranges/stock
- Collaborate with buyers, suppliers, distributors and analysts to negotiate prices, quantities and timescales
- Monitor stock movement and consider markdowns, promotions, price changes, clear outs etc
- Remain up to date with industry's best practices
Requirements and skills
- Proven working experience in merchandising
Strong working skill with Microsoft Excel
- Uptodate with the latest merchandising trends and best practices
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong listening, presentation and decision making skills
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
