    Description

    Job Title: BIM Modeler

    At Duncan-Ross, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced BIM Modeler to join our Digital Engineering team.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and maintain detailed 3D architectural Building Information Modeling (BIM) models using Autodesk Revit and other relevant software tools.
    • Collaborate with architects, designers, engineers, and other team members to integrate design concepts into the BIM model, ensuring seamless integration of building systems and construction processes.
    • Coordinate and manage model updates, revisions, and design changes throughout the project lifecycle, adhering to project standards and best practices.
    • Assist in the creation of construction documents, including plans, elevations, sections, and details, ensuring accuracy and quality control.
    • Participate in clash detection and resolve any conflicts or issues related to the BIM model, utilizing problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Generate 3D renderings and visualizations for presentations and client reviews, effectively communicating design concepts and ideas.
    • Assist in the development of BIM-related processes and workflows to improve efficiency and collaboration within the team, driving innovation and excellence.
    • Maintain and update project documentation, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards, and maintaining accurate records.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a BIM Modeler, with a strong focus on architecture and building information modeling.
    • Must have work experience from design consulting companies in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), ideally from the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
    • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and other BIM software tools, such as Navisworks and AutoCAD.
    • Strong understanding of architectural design, building systems, and construction processes, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
    • Experience working with project teams to develop and manage BIM models from schematic design through construction, with a focus on teamwork and effective project management.
    • Familiarity with BIM standards, guidelines, and project workflows, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
    • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with excellent time management and organizational skills.
