Description

The Electrical Draftsman is responsible for Creating electrical engineering drawings that detail the design of electrical systems for commercial, industrial, or residential buildings.


  • Communicate with engineers and architects to gather information about project specifications, design concepts, and construction details.
  • Develop drawings that show how electrical components will be connected to create functioning systems.
  • Research existing electrical codes and standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Review drawings created by other engineers to identify errors and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Design electrical wiring, equipment, and systems such as power distribution grids and transformer stations
  • Draft diagrams using computer software to create wire diagrams, circuit diagrams, schematic diagrams, panel diagrams, and other diagrams related to electrical engineering.
  • Prepare drawings detailing the location of wiring and equipment within a building to ensure it meets fire safety standards.
  • Calculate electrical load requirements and design load centers, transformers, fuses, breakers, and other components required to meet those requirements.

Salary:
AED3, AED4,000.00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
