    About The Role
    As a Chef de Partie, your role encompasses a range of responsibilities to ensure the smooth operation of culinary activities. This includes actively participating in cooking and overseeing the line during operational hours, supporting overall production flow beyond your designated area, taking ownership of special dietary guest requirements, and addressing conflicts to achieve positive outcomes. Additionally, you assist the Sous Chef in supervising kitchen operations, fostering team spirit, and maintaining a positive team mood. Your duties extend to training and developing culinary colleagues, contributing to menu implementations, controlling food costs, managing daily and weekly market lists, ensuring adherence to safety and hygiene policies, conducting kitchen inspections, and facilitating a safe and clean working environment. In the absence of the Sous Chef, you assume responsibility and undertake any other duties as assigned by the Culinary Director or leadership within the culinary team.


    About You
    The ideal candidate for the position of Chef de Partie should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Commis or currently hold the position of Chef de Partie in an international luxury hotel or restaurant, with a preference for international exposure. A culinary certificate, accredited education, or an equivalent of 7 years of culinary experience is required. The candidate must exhibit excellent communication skills, thrive in a multicultural environment, and demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of HACCP, along with a strong knowledge of general health and safety practices in the workplace. Additionally, proficiency in computer skills, including email and office packages, is essential for effective communication and operational tasks.
