    Synopsis


    The incumbent is responsible for Technical sourcing, contract, and vendor management for specific portfolio of contracts at Etihad Airways Technical.

    The incumbent will act as the contract manager and will own the souring and contract process for a portfolio. The role requires providing sourcing expertise for Technical and liaising with the business owners (end-user).

    For a portfolio of contracts/suppliers, the role is accountable for ensuring internal alignment with CAMO, Legal, Finance and other stakeholders and lead commercial negotiations with supplier to ensure the best outcome for Etihad Airways.

    Accountabilities

    With safety as our number one priority, ensure all relevant airworthiness regulations, policies and procedures are followed to support continuing airworthiness (CAMO function) of the airline

    Lead end to end sourcing, contracting, supplier performance management for portfolio of contracts/suppliers (e.g., wheels & brakes, components, IFE, BFE), in line with CAR-M regulation, CAMO policies, and Etihad Airway corporate policies

    To deliver end to end sourcing projects and execute as per the DOA and Ariba requirements

    Lead RFP discussions, register vendors as per the requirements, gather the requirements and execute the sourcing strategies

    Negotiate contractual terms and conditions with vendors and identify escalation topics. The Manager is expected to liaise with all internal stakeholders and build strong relationships


    Own the relationship with the key vendors for their portfolio and provide regular analytical update using data on contract numbers and values, spend in the last quarter etc.

    Engage with vendors and on regular meetings and review of SLA/Metrics and lead and represent Etihad on any contractual disputes

    Education & Experience

    Minimum 5 years job-related experience in airline/aviation or related disciplines

    Bachelor's degree in commerce/business administration or related fields

    Experience & tracked record in a minimum 2 of Vendor negotiations, Contract management, Sourcing Process, Analytical mindset

    Strong communicator with demonstrated negotiations and influencing skills
