- Check the elevations the setting out and rest of survey work by the contractor are required to ensure accuracy.
- Advise the Resident Engineer and recommend actions concerning construction surveys.
- Maintain the construction surveys and quantity records as per the RE instructions.
- Perform the initial baseline and control surveys including the establishment of benchmarks and recovery of any existing survey monuments to be removed at the start of the project as directed by the RE.
- Undertake design project from concept to completion
- Define project requirements and schedule during the brief
- Interpret and translate customer needs into rough plans
- Set costs and project fees according to budget
- Research and decide on materials and products sourcing
- Produce sample and mood products
- Supervise work progress
- Work closely with designers decorators architects and constructors
- Research and follow industry changes evolutions and best practices
- Candidates MUST be immediately available and currently based in the UAE
- Technical diploma in civil engineering or equivalent
- Five years of relevant work experience on infrastructure projects.
- Minimum of 5 years UAEDubai experience is preferred.
- Good written and oral communication organizational and interpersonal skills as well as a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with project personnel and management.
