    Job Description
    • To ensure that the outlet is managed efficientlyaccording to the established concept statements.
    • To ensure that all operating standards are adhered to inorder to achieve the level of service established in theDepartmental Operations Manual.
    • To assignresponsibilities to subordinates and to check their performanceperiodically.
    • To be on the floor at alltimes.
    • To assist in the operations duringbusy periods.
    • To ensure that the par stocksfor all operating equipment and supplies are strictly adhered toand that the outlet is adequately equipped.
    • To assist in conducting monthly inventory checks on all operatingequipment and supplies.
    • To assist incontrolling the requisitioning storage and careful use of alloperating equipment and supplies
    • To attendDaily Operations Meeting in the absence of the Outlet Manager orAssistant Outlet Manager
    • To ensure that theoutlet is kept cleaned and organized both at the front and backarea as well.
    • To liaise and organize withHousekeeping and Stewarding Departments that the establishedcleaning schedules are strictly adhered to.
    • To conduct daily preshift briefings to ambassadors on preparationservice and menu.
    • To liaise with the Kitchenand Beverage department on daily operation and quality.
    • To handle all guest complaints requests and enquiries onfood beverage and service.
    • To establish arapport with guests maintaining good customerrelationship.
    • To ensure that the outletcashiering procedures are strictly adhered to.
    • To assist in the revision and updating of the outletDepartmental Operations Manual as and when required.
    • To assist in planning and organizing festive foodpromotions with the outlet manager and assistant.
    • To maintain the outlet Daily Log Book.
    • To assist in planning the outlet weekly roster and workschedules to ensure that the outlet is adequately manned to handlethe level of business.
    • To maintain the outletbulletin board.
    • To submit allguest/ambassador incident reports.
    • To reportlost and found items.
    • To issue repair andmaintenance job orders to ensure the proper maintenance of theoutlet.
    • To maintain a good rapport andworking relationship with ambassadors in the outlet and all otherdepartments.
    • To undertake any reasonabletasks as assigned by the Food and Beverage Department.
    • To assist in the training of ambassadors ensuring thatthey have the necessary skills
    • To performtheir duties with the maximum efficiency and in the most productivemanner.
    • To conduct and/or contribute toregular departmental Communications Meetings.
    • To attend training and meetings as and when required.
    • To ensure rosters are posted and timesheets submitted ontime.
    • Terms and conditions of employmentlocal legislation and company/hotel policies andprocedures.
    • To liaise and inform Food andBeverage Department and Human Resources Department of all trainingsessions.
    • To conduct ambassador yearlyperformance appraisal.
    • To identify anddevelop young talents within the organization for future potentialgrowth within the group
    • To carry out monthlyquarterly biyearly yearly inventory of operatingequipment.
    • To be entirely flexible and adaptto rotate within the different outlets of the Food and BeverageDepartment.
    • To carry out any other reasonableduties as assigned by the Outlet Manager and Assistant.
