Job title: General Manager

Description

We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to lead and oversee all aspects of our transport operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transportation or logistics and a proven track record of business development, team leadership, and operational management. Key responsibilities include leading day-to-day operations, developing operational strategies, managing budgets, forecasting, and cost control, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with local and international transport regulations, and driving continuous improvement and implementing industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead day-to-day operations of transport and logistics services
Develop and implement operational strategies to improve productivity, service quality, and profitability
Manage budgets, forecasting, and cost control
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders
Ensure compliance with local and international transport regulations
Drive continuous improvement and implement industry best practices

The ideal candidate will have 15–20 years of proven experience in transportation/logistics within the UAE, strong leadership and people management skills, in-depth knowledge of UAE transport regulations and market, excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills, ability to drive operational efficiency and profitability, and strong knowledge of freight, customs, and regulatory compliance.
