STRUCTURAL has been established in UAE since2008 and has offices/operations in Qatar and KSA.

We are currently recruiting for a Construction Manager tobe based out of our Dubai office and provide constructionleadership across the UAE. As a General Superintendent in UAE youwill be responsible for providing high level field management toother Superintendents Foreman as well as our openshop crews thatmake our nations structures stronger and last longer. Projectstypically consist of concrete repair cathodic protectionwaterproofing and structural strengthening in commercial andindustrial settings.

As a successful candidateyou will be responsible for:

• Interfacing closely with Superintendents Project Managersto direct plan coordinate and execute project work in a timelymanner within budget while maintaining a safe workplace workingclosely with the branch Manager of Construction.
• Participating in preproject and pretask planningactivities then disseminating planning details to field teams.
• Responsible for Construction activity safetymeans & methods and productivity for assigned projects.
• Providing training and mentoring to fieldmanagers to aid in their professional and career growth.
• Assisting project teams in the development of monthlyprogress reports monthly payment applications anticipated costreport and other financial costs reports.
• Completing all essential paperwork in a clear an accuratemanner
• Interviewing and hiring of new fieldemployees
• Providing leadership to STRUCTURALsSafety 24/7 culture

Candidates whomeet the following criteria may be considered for this excitingposition:

• Excellent written andverbal English communication and technical writing.
• Strong handson construction knowledge & drawntowards technical understanding of projects.
• Bachelors degree or equivalent in Construction Managementor related field OR significant relevant work experience in placeof degree will be considered.
• 15 years ofexperience in general construction with at least 5 of those yearsin a field management role at a Superintendent level orabove
• Prior experience in general repair typeprojects to include concrete repair structural strengtheningwaterproofing corrosion control faade restoration etc.
• Previous experience running multiple projectssimultaneously (depending on size/complexity)
• Proven ability to manage various levels of field managerswhile overseeing divisional field operations.
• Advanced proficiency to read interpret and execute toconstruction drawings and contract specifications. Resolvingdiscrepancies as needed.
• Demonstrated abilityto communicate effectively with the customer crew and projectteams.
• Advanced computer skills andconstruction math skills
• Possesses advancedleadership skills to evaluate train and mentor others and hold teammembers accountable while demonstrating model behavior relative toStructural Groups operating principles.
• StrongIT skills including Microsoft suite Microsoft project exceletc.
