Description

Position - HSE Officer


Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies, procedures, and programs in line with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Conduct risk assessments and hazard identification to identify potential workplace hazards and develop mitigation strategies.


Provide guidance and support to management, supervisors, and employees on HSE-related matters, including safe work practices, emergency response, and incident investigation.

Monitor and evaluate workplace activities to ensure compliance with HSE policies and procedures.

Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify HSE deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.

Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and prepare reports detailing root causes and recommendations for preventing recurrence.

Coordinate with relevant departments to develop and deliver HSE training programs and awareness campaigns.

Maintain records and documentation related to HSE activities, including incident reports, inspections, and training records.

Stay updated with changes in HSE regulations and industry best practices and ensure organizational compliance.


Participate in HSE committee meetings and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.


Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Professional certifications in HSE (NEBOSH) are highly desirable.

Proven 7+ years' experience in HSE management, preferably in a similar role or industry.

Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.

Excellent in HSE reports most desirable.

Welling to travel KSA and relocate.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and train employees at all levels.

Analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess risks, investigate incidents, and propose effective solutions.

Attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate records and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
