We are looking for a
Risk Manager (Hedging Unit) to join one of the best commercial teams in base metals.

Location/Reporting of the role:
The role will be located in Dubai and will report to the Head of Hedging Unit.

The purpose of the role:

To enable the execution of the Sales goals and marketing strategy through effective tools of price risk management by executing hedging.

Role responsibilities:

Ensuring the execution of the hedging strategy by way of implementing effective price risk mitigation tools;
Using FIORI for customer pricings and hedge booking
Ensure the effective communication with the external customers providing best pricing service practices;
Verification of hedging data received from brokers, including trade confirmations, margin statements, positions/ledger statements;
Monthly hedging plan preparation;
Position rollover and clearing operations;
Margin statement and Prompt settlement administration;
Difference account and ledger balance supervision;
Monthly average confirmation with the brokers;
Monthly report provision to financial analysis team;
Miscellaneous reports provision to head of Hedging Unit upon request;
Customer pricing supervision;
Submission of hedging operations related documents to PAYDOX for approval;

Skills and Experience:

Education: Bachelor degree,Mathematics or IT preferred.

Languages: English

Proficient level. Russian is an advantage.
Work experience: 45 years of experience in hedging role before is preferable.
Knowledge and skills: advanced knowledge of international trade techniques, INCOTERMS 2020, LME and hedging principles, hedging options and futures, fundamentals of Competition Law, payment terms. Basics of accounting and finance. Financing and payment instruments (L/C, trade finance), Risk management.
